Carrie and Co. are back, oozing style and more drama than ever, in the upcoming “Sex and the City 2 “ sequel “Carry On”.

The movie is the follow-up to the first film, which pulled in more than $415 million worldwide and was inspired by the phenomenally popular, award-winning HBO series, based on the writings of Candace Bushnell.

We pick up with the fashion-forward foursome at the two-year benchmark of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Mr. Big’s (Chris Noth) marriage, which is apparently on the brink of collapse, when Carrie catches Mr. Big flirting with an exotic Spanish woman (Penelope Cruz).

Carrie decides to leave Mr. Big behind in the Big Apple for a no-boys-allowed trip with the girls [Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon)] to Marrakech, Morocco (possibly the most interesting part of the movie.)

This may have been a bad move for Mrs. Bigg. As fate would have it, Carrie runs into ex-fiancé, Aiden (John Corbett), while consumed with her favorite past time, shopping, in a random Moroccan souk.

Charming Aiden does not help the ailing Carrie Bradshaw, suffering from thoughts of a possibly broken marriage, when he refers to their happenstance meeting as,”the best mirage I’ve ever had.”

Samantha, still the only single member in the group, is alleged to come into contact with ex live-in lover Jerry ‘Smith’ Jerrod (Jason Lewis), prompting rumors that the two may give their romance another try.

As if the movie could benefit from any additional comic relief, Samantha Jones finds herself in the middle of a fashion faux paux when she and Miley Cyrus appear at a red carpet event wearing the same gown.
