It has been quite a day. I am trying to make it to Boston for the weekend for the affiliate summit, which is a gathering of all the big affiliate marketers in the country, to get together and discuss, just as the name suggests, affiliate marketers. I, myself, am not an affiliate marketer, but my friend Justin Chelf is one of the best. He is taking me along to experience all of the parties and mayhem. I’ve heard so much about the conference that I am actually quite excited to attend.
Well, due to my craving for a bloody mary, Justin and I missed our connecting flight to Boston. However, we were promptly re-scheduled for the next flight to Boston, departing 2 hours later. So now I am just sitting in the Charlotte airport, getting caught up on all of my phone calls, and waiting for the plane to arrive.
We are flying US Airways, which is an absolutely horrible airline. On the flight from Louisville to Charlotte we had to pay $30 extra to check in two bags. I wouldn’t have checked any, but I pack so much I was already carrying on 2 bags! Then we could not get an on-flight beverage without paying. How abnoxious. Flight patrons used to complain that flight attendants were stingy with the beverage cans, now they are stingy with the beverage all together.
Anyway, I will check in again tomorrow, once we have arrived in Boston. Arrivederci.
